GENTLE SUCTION TECHNOLOGY
A small change.
A gentler experience.
During some procedures, the cervix needs to be held steady. The traditional tenaculum pinches tissue; carevix® uses gentle suction—designed to offer women a more comfortable experience.

Frequently asked questions
carevix® is a medical device used by trained healthcare professionals. Please ask your clinic whether it is available for your procedure.
We encourage you to start a conversation with your gynecologist. If they do not yet use carevix®, the Aspivix team will be happy to provide information directly.
Every person’s experience is different. Clinical results show significant reductions in pain and bleeding compared with a traditional tenaculum, but the tenaculum is not the only possible source of discomfort. Cervical stabilization is not required for every procedure, and healthcare professionals may use different techniques. Talk with your provider about your individual pain-management needs and ask whether and how they plan to stabilize your cervix.
Coverage may depend on the reason for the procedure and your insurer. When an IUD is inserted solely for contraceptive purposes, carevix® may not be covered. When the procedure’s indication is covered, the use of carevix® may be covered as well. Examples include IUD insertion due to idiopathic hypermenorrhea and endometrial biopsies. Please confirm coverage with your healthcare provider or insurer.
