Ricardo Cordero
Board Member
Ricardo Cordero is a seasoned and passionate financial investor. As a former Swiss Privatbanquier, he has over 40 years of experience in true Swiss private banking, corporate finance, and investment management. He was instrumental in the creation of SOFFEX, the world’s first electronic and fully integrated options and futures exchange (now EUREX).
As board member and active investor, he has successfully developed, lead financial rounds and contributed to exits for high-growth companies in the areas of life sciences, technology, and high-end consumer goods.
He has a PhD from the University of St. Gallen, and is the author of three books on options, futures, and economic history.
Born and raised in El Salvador, he is president of “Fundación Educación”, a Swiss foundation that empowers talented youth in five Latin American countries.
Ricardo is happily married and has two children.
